#5 | There are some surprisingly simple and natural things you can do to help boost your immune system and reduce your risk of catching a cold or the flu.

Tip #5
Emotional StressorsThe demands and the effects of our modern day busy lifestyles is not always favorable to our minds or our bodies, and most definitely puts undue stress on the body and its immune system. This undue stress compromises immune system function and increases our risk of catching a cold or getting the flu. As mentioned in an earlier blog, and our monthly e-Mag article for January, we catch a cold or get the flu due to a weakened immune system, not just because we came in contact with someone who was sick . So, support your immune system and reduce your risk of getting sick, by finding ways to remove or minimize these stressors. Develop healthful living habits. Schedule a few minutes of personal quiet time each day. Many people have found stress-relieving benefits from meditating, yoga, walking outdoors or simply sitting down in a quiet spot to read a book. Find what works for you and do it everyday. In Health.
This is the last tip for this week.  Next week's topic is Adrenal Fatigue.
